From sorrow springs the strength to demand change.

We are the voices of grieving mothers of homicide victims, and we will not be silenced.

No one understands the heartache of losing a child quite like we do.

M.A.R.C.U.S., or Mothers Advocating for Real Change and Unwavering Support, has teamed up with the Union County District Attorney to create the county's first Homicide Support Group Meeting. This vital initiative provides a supportive environment for those affected by homicide, allowing them to connect and heal together. The group meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at South Piedmont Community College, located at 4209 Old Charlotte Hwy, Building A, Room 1601, Monroe, NC. In addition to peer support, participants benefit from monthly judicial overviews and Q&A sessions, which help clarify the legal process and empower attendees with valuable information. M.A.R.C.U.S. exemplifies community strength and unwavering support in times of tragedy.
