We Support Victims’ Families & Advocate for Lasting Change

M.A.R.C.U.S. started with one mother affected by gun violence. She harnessed her grief and made it her mission to make a difference.

Mission

M.A.R.C.U.S. exists to prevent youth violence, strengthen parent accountability, and support families impacted by homicide through advocacy, education, and community engagement.

Vision

We envision safer communities where violence is prevented, families are supported, and every victim’s voice is recognized and valued.

Remembering Marcus Gerard Mosley: A Life of Joy, Love, and Lasting Impact

Born on December 24, 1991, Marcus Gerard Mosley was a gift to everyone who knew him—joyful, brilliant, and full of charm. A devoted middle child, he shared an unbreakable bond with his siblings BJ and Cortina and brought light to every room with his infectious smile.

Marcus excelled in academics, athletics, and music, earning respect as a multi-sport standout and a talented drummer. He later became a certified electrician and respected foreman in North Carolina and Texas, carrying himself with pride, generosity, and an innate ability to uplift those around him.

Though tragically taken from us on September 29, 2020, Marcus’s legacy lives on—through his son, Baby Marcus, and the countless lives he touched. His energy, love, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire the M.A.R.C.U.S. movement, ensuring his impact endures far beyond his years.
