The acronym reflects our core values: fostering resilience in the face of unimaginable loss, promoting compassion for those affected by violence, uniting mothers in our shared struggles, and providing unwavering support as we navigate the difficult journey of grief and healing.
M.A.R.C.U.S. aims to create a safe space for mothers to connect, share their stories, and advocate for necessary changes in our communities and justice system. Through awareness campaigns, support groups, and community outreach, we strive to honor the memory of our loved ones while working towards a safer future for all. Your involvement can light the way for others and help us create lasting change.







Emotional Support Services:
Support Groups: Regularly scheduled support group meetings where mothers can share their experiences, find comfort in community, and receive love, support and guidance with other grieivng Moms.
Legal Resources: Providing access to legal information and resources for mothers navigating the justice system, including workshops on how to advocate for their rights effectively.
Daily Meals Program: Offering daily meals to families during trial durations, alleviating some of the logistical burdens so they can focus on attending court proceedings and supporting each other during difficult times.
Advocacy and Outreach:
Community Awareness Campaigns: Organizing events and initiatives to educate the public about the impact of violence on families and advocate for systemic changes that protect victim rights.
- Legislative Advocacy: Working with lawmakers to influence policies and legislation that support victims’ rights and enhance community safety.
Memorial and Remembrance Programs:
Memorial Events: Organizing community memorial ceremonies that honor the memory of children lost to violence, allowing families to celebrate their lives and foster healing.
National Crime Victims' Rights Week, we stand together to remember M.A.R.C.U.S. — a powerful reminder of the love and joy that our children brought into our lives. This week is not only about acknowledging the pain that comes from loss but also about celebrating their lives and advocating for the rights of all victims. Our voices matter, and by sharing their stories, we shed light on the challenges faced by families affected by violence. Community Engagement Projects
Young adults in the Community: Teenagers and young adults at risk due to exposure to violence or loss. Our programs aim to promote awareness and prevent violence, as well as offer resources for those affected by the trauma of losing a friend or family member.
Educational Workshops: Offering workshops for youth to teach them about the impacts of violence, conflict resolution, and the importance of community safety.
